In October 2015 Dan & Kellie Knechtel and family along with parents Gord and Pat Hall obtained ownership of Musky Island View Cottages.(formerly known as Welcome Lodge)
A Little History...
Gord, Pat and family have been frequent visitors to the Lavigne/West Arm area over the past 35 years, as guests at area lodges for the first years and then cottage owners since 2001. Gord has cruised many areas in Lake Nipissing and the West Arm and is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to direction and rock points of the lake. You will often find him out for his nightly sunset cruise. Son Kevin Hall and grandsons Nickelas and Nathan Knechtel have become avid fishermen and enjoy a good catch of pike, walleye, bass and the thrilling chase of the mighty muskie. Spending time on Lake Nipissing has been a growing family tradition over the years and we welcome you to continue or start your own Northern Ontario traditions at Musky Island View Cottages.
Looking Forward...
Over the next few years we plan to make improvements to the grounds and facilities and keep the area welcome to fishermen, families, couples and friends of all ages.
